"I did a road trip a year and a half ago and I did not own a GPS. The next month I went to Oregon for only two days but I bought this GPS before I went. I was out in the middle of NO WHERE!! And I will tell you, I was really happy to have it. I wanted to watch the sun come up over the ocean. I was up on the top of a huge hill, in the dark, wind and rain whipping all around, and it was nice to know THAT GPS GUIDED ME WHERE I NEEDED TO GO AS I WENT TO THE SITE AND BACK. It was nice to know as I wandered the back roads looking for Elk, I would not get lost. As I drove to Washington on my way back to the airport, the GPS attempted to tell me where a gas station was but it was obviously gone. I don't use GPS much but it really helps in New Jersey and when I go on vacation. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for ease of use is because I don't read the manuals and if it was really really easy to use, I would not have had any questions."
